Abstract
Crystal structure of monazite-type REPO4 (REÂ =Â La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd). The results indicate that the lattice thermal conductivities of monazite-type REPO4 show weak dependence on direction. Meanwhile, their sound velocities and elastic properties exhibit strong anisotropy.
