Abstract
Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PIMNT) thick films with nano-sized grains and a dense film structure were deposited by an aerosol-deposition (AD) method. Unlike bulk PIMNT crystals, the AD films showed a relatively narrow polarization-electric field hysteresis loop due to the nano-grain size effect. The post-annealed AD films had a large energy density resulting from the increasing dielectric constant and low charge/discharge efficiency due to the larger hysteresis.
