Abstract
Multiple shell hollow CoFe2O4 spheres have been synthesized using carbon spheres as templates. The formation mechanism and properties have also been demonstrated. The preparation refers to the loading of nucleates into mesopores within solvothermal driven templates, and the creation of multiple shell hollow structure is finally achieved by annealing. The multiple shell hollow CoFe2O4 spheres have exhibited good textural and magnetic properties, which may provide a very promising candidate for their applications in target drug delivery.
