Abstract
The regularities of the spatial distribution of copper nuclei electrodeposited on glassy carbon under galvanostatic conditions are studied. The analysis of radial distribution functions of inter-nuclei distances showed that copper nuclei at low and average current densities were distributed statistically ordered. The analysis of the histograms of the distributions of average distances showed that there was a correlation between the nearest nuclei connected with the order of their formation. The mechanism of the formation of long-range order in the copper nucleus distribution was found. It was found that the influence of the nearest neighbors determined the character of the nucleus distribution.
