Abstract
- ZnS thin films have been prepared on Au-coated and uncoated sapphire substrates by PLD technique.
- ZnS thin film deposited on uncoated sapphire substrate has zinc-blende or mixture of zinc-blende and wurtzite structure.
- ZnS thin film deposited on Au-coated sapphire substrate has wurtzite structure.
- Room-temperature PL spectra show two emission bands at â¼405Â nm and â¼520Â nm, respectively.
