Abstract
- TiO2 pillared montmorillonite was prepared by intra-gallery templating (IGT) method.
- TiO2 pillared montmorillonite (Ti-PILC) has ordered interlayer mesoporous structure.
- The IGT method and the resultant Ti-PILC have super advantages over the classic ones.
- Ti-PILC's structure can be easily adjusted by changing the chain length of surfactant.
- Ti-PILCs are very high efficient photocatalysts for treating harmful wastewaters.
