Abstract
▶ Novel sodium calcium borate glass derived hydroxyapatite (G-HAP) is prepared. ▶ Micro-G-HAP adsorbs F− ions in solutions more effectively than commercial nano-HAP. ▶ The adsorption kinetics and isotherms are well fitted by a second order kinetic model and Freundlich isotherm model.
