Abstract
â¶ Monodisperse and regular octahedral microcrystals LiYbF4: Er3+ with smooth surface has been prepared. â¶ The characteristic emissions of Er3+ ions are observed in LiYbF4 microcrystals. â¶ The content of EDTA will influence the fluorescence intensity. â¶ Luminescence intensity increases gradually at the beginning and then decreases gradually with increasing temperature.
