Abstract
⺠We have numerically studied in-plane wave propagation in two-dimensional photonic crystals. ⺠Photonic crystal bandgap reflectivity and width can be optimized at midrange air-filling fractions. ⺠Photonic crystal band gap reflectivity and width can be optimized at midrange air-filling fractions.
