Abstract
⺠Optoelectronic properties of BaThO3 are examined. ⺠It is found that the bandgap of the material is wide and direct. ⺠The calculated bandgap of the compound is 5.7 eV. ⺠It can be used in high frequency UV optoelectronic devices.
