Abstract
Two characteristic hydrogen migration processes in the tempered martensite steel are distinguished by means of tritium autoradiography: (i) long range transport in the ferrite matrix, and (ii) local hydrogen accumulation in the cementite precipitates and/or at boundaries between the cementite precipitates and the surrounding ferrite matrix.
