Abstract
We substantiate preferential formation of anatase in a titanium oxide film deposited on a quartz-glass substrate by pulsed laser deposition technique. The key factors to obtain anatase films are reducing the repetition rate of laser pulse down to about 1Â Hz and annealing the films at a lower temperature.
