Abstract
Ti-(50 â x)Ni-xFe alloys containing 6 at.% Fe and more do not show any first order transformation, but show anomalies in their physical properties such as a negative temperature coefficient of electrical resistivity, low Debye temperature and a broad peak in specific heat curve. These anomalies may be related to the so-called precursor phenomena.
