Abstract
Study of austenite decomposition products of new CrMoV steel was carried out using dilatometry supplemented with TEM examination. The dilatometric data were analyzed to determine the activation energy and Avrami exponents. It was found that bainite with different morphologies, formed over the cooling rates employed, were kinetically distinct.
