Abstract
Additions of B and Ce in type 347 austenitic stainless steel increased creep rupture strength and ductility. B segregation on cavity surface in absence of S contamination suppressed creep cavity growth and provided the steel with the enhanced resistance against creep cavitation. Removal of S through Ce addition made it possible to segregate B on cavity surface.
