Abstract
Attention has recently been turned to the Au7Cu5Al4 alloy for its thermoelastic martensitic transformation. The effects of ageing in martensite are investigated here by differential scanning calorimetric measurements in the temperature range 253-393Â K. The stabilization of martensite is examined in the light of ageing-induced diffusion processes.
