Abstract
This report describes the fatigue properties of carbon- and phosphorus-added ultrafine-grained steels comprising ferrite grains below 1 μm. The fatigue limits Ïw showed a linear relationship with the tensile strengths ÏB, and the fatigue limit ratios (Ïw/ÏB) were above 0.5 even when the tensile strength exceeded 1000 MPa.
