Abstract
The temperature memory effect (TME) phenomenon of Ni47Ti44Nb9 wide hysteresis shape memory alloy was studied. It was found that TME occurred during the reverse transformation for the thermally-induced martensite (TIM) but not for the stress-induced martensite after incomplete transformation cycling. The reverse transformation temperature interval of TIM can be doubly broadened after 10 incomplete transformation cycles.
