Abstract
Amorphous Pd40.5Ni40.5P19 (at.%) specimens showing apparent double glass transitions (Tgs) have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM, including energy-filtered imaging), high-resolution TEM and calorimetry. In contrast to previous reports, our findings show that the apparent second Tg is not attributable to phase separation in the material.
