Abstract
												Al-Al3Ti FGM cups are manufactured through the semi-solid backward extrusion process. The billet is cut from an Al-Al3Ti FGM ring fabricated by a centrifugal solid-particle method. The master alloy is Al-5mass%Ti. Graded distribution of Al3Ti particles and a variation of the orientation of platelets are confirmed and discussed.
