Abstract
Crystallographic textures developed in a galvanized zinc sheet during asymmetrical skin-pass are studied. The strain history is calculated by an elasto-plastic flow line model. The obtained strain increments are input into a Taylor model, to simulate the texture evolution. The shear strain is the dominant factor governing texture evolution.
