Abstract
The effect of cold rolling followed by annealing on the martensitic transformation behaviour of a NiTi alloy has been studied by means of the DSC, electron microscopy and electrical resistivity measurements. It was found that after the applied treatment both the B2 → R-phase and R → B19′ martensitic transformations are two-stage transformations.
