Abstract
Coercivities of 1400Â kA/m (17.6Â kOe) and 650Â kA/m (8.2Â kOe) were achieved in mechanically milled and spark plasma sintered Fe35Pt35P30 and Fe50Pt50 bulk magnets, respectively. The constituent phases were analysed by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy and the effect of microstructure on magnetic properties is discussed.
