Abstract
â¶ The electrochemical synthesis of strongly adherent, uniform polypyrrole (PPy) and poly(pyrrole-co-o-anisidine) coatings were successfully achieved on 3102 aluminum alloy from 0.1Â M monomer (pyrrole and pyrrole:o-anisidine, 8:2) containing oxalic acid by means of the cyclic voltammetry technique. â¶ The results were showed that the water permeation of copolymer coating is lower than PPy. â¶ This study was showed that copolymer is suitable coating for protection of 3102 Al alloy against corrosion.
