Abstract
ⶠThe origin of the carbon nanomaterial growth directly on metal support was investigated. ⶠThe reaction between the catalyst and support played an important role for the activity of the catalyst. ⶠBy critically controlling their interaction, all metal powders are reasonable to be used as catalyst supports for the carbon nanomatrial growth by CVD.
