Abstract
â¶ A core-shell Ni-Zr nanoparticle was studied. â¶ Molecular dynamics indicates that Ni diffuses into Zr. â¶ An amorphous Ni-Zr layer is formed by Kirkendall diffusion. â¶ A final hollow amorphous nanoparticle is obtained.
