Abstract
ⶠA core-shell Ni-Zr nanoparticle was studied. ⶠMolecular dynamics indicates that Ni diffuses into Zr. ⶠAn amorphous Ni-Zr layer is formed by Kirkendall diffusion. ⶠA final hollow amorphous nanoparticle is obtained.
