Abstract
▶ Cubic and tetragonal phases of Y3Fe5O12 appear around 650 °C with no trace of YFeO3. ▶ A single cubic-phase of Y3Fe5O12 nanocrystals is obtained around 750 °C. ▶ Y3Fe5O12 nanocrystals grow almost linearly as a function of the temperature. ▶ Saturation magnetization shows a nonlinear increase from 0.24 to 24.54 emu g−1.
