Abstract
In this work, the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films composited with decatungstomolybdovanadogermanic heteropoly acid (HPA) were prepared. Infrared (IR) spectra revealed that the Keggin structure characteristic of the GeW10MoVO405â anion was present in PVA films. At room temperature (20 °C), the conductivity of the samples of different HPA content increased from 3.16 Ã 10â3 to 1.22 Ã 10â2 S cmâ1. The results indicated that they are new kind of excellent high-proton conductor.
