Abstract
The dielectric relaxation behaviors of relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Mg1/2Nb1/2)O3-35Â % PbTiO3 (PMN-PT) ceramics is studied by investigating the dielectric permittivity as a function of temperature and signal frequency. The concurrence of thermally activated relaxation at high temperature and resonance relaxation at low temperature in relaxor ferroelectrics is demonstrated. The measured dielectric relaxation behavior as a function of temperature and frequency is discussed based on the hybrid model, indicating that the two mechanisms have significant influence on the dielectric relaxation at high temperature and low temperature, respectively.
