Abstract
►A novel design for the operating wavelength tuning of slow light in the slotted photonic crystal waveguide using microfluidic infiltration has been presented. ►The numerical results show that the operating wavelength can be shifted from the C to L band by changing the refractive index of the infiltrated fluid. ►The numerical results demonstrate that the group velocity dispersion has slight variation with the change of infiltrated fluid refractive index. ►This design opens the possibility for post-fabrication scheme of tuning the property of slow light in slotted photonic crystal waveguide.
