Abstract
âºA novel design for the operating wavelength tuning of slow light in the slotted photonic crystal waveguide using microfluidic infiltration has been presented. âºThe numerical results show that the operating wavelength can be shifted from the C to L band by changing the refractive index of the infiltrated fluid. âºThe numerical results demonstrate that the group velocity dispersion has slight variation with the change of infiltrated fluid refractive index. âºThis design opens the possibility for post-fabrication scheme of tuning the property of slow light in slotted photonic crystal waveguide.
