Abstract
⺠Studied MIS optical waveguide surface plasmon polariton polarizer. ⺠Structural parameters of polarizers are optimized for high extinction ratio. ⺠Such high extinction ratio polarizers can be designed with or without the superstrate layer. ⺠Maximum TM absorption is shown to improve by a factor of 7.
