Abstract
►We present a field-compensation method applied for Savart birefringent interferometer. ► The method is based on a combination of positive and negative uniaxial Savart plates. ► We show that the useful solid angle of field of view exceeds ± 40° in the 400-1100 nm. ►The compensated field angle has optical throughput higher by one order in magnitude.
