Abstract
⺠The polymer materials have been used to fabricate MMI-MZI thermooptic switch. ⺠The standard fabrication techniques such as coating, photolithography, and dry etching were used. ⺠The optical properties of the realized device were measured. ⺠The crosstalk of â36.2 dB, the power consumption of 1.85 mW, and the switch time of 0.7 ms were achieved.
