Abstract
âºWe proposed several fiber designs to mitigate stimulated Brillouin scattering in laser fibers. âºThe numerical modeling shows an increase in SBS threshold by 3-6 dB. âºThe key parameters that can affect the SBS performance are specified and optimized. âºThe study also highlights the effects of minor index profile variation on SBS.
