Abstract
⺠Applying an axial external magnetic field (EMF) causes an important effect on the CVL's active medium. ⺠The output power of the laser with large-bore tube increases in the presence of the EMF. ⺠The effect of EMF in our small-bore laser is reverse, such that it can be used as a fast magnetic switch.
