Abstract
⺠We reveal that soliton control can be effectively achieved in a gradient nonlocal system. ⺠The fundamental nonlocal soliton can be compressed (or broadened ) in the decreasing (or increasing) system. ⺠The higher-order nonlocal soliton can be divided into several parts, these parts may completely separate or present periodical interaction in these gradient nonlocal systems. ⺠Different control purposes can be realized by controlling corresponding nonlocal parameters of gradient nonlocal system.
