Abstract
âºThis paper presents an idea to improve the quantum bit efficiency of Shi et al.'s quantum secret sharing (QSS) protocol. âºThe dealer in the proposed QSS scheme is not required to maintain a quantum memory to keep photons in hands. âºIn the proposed scheme, since the dealer does not need to retain any photons, none of the photons possessed by the agents can collude to reveal the dealer's secret.
