Abstract
⺠Design of a solar parabolic dish concentrator with polyester membrane facets. ⺠Facet focusing is accomplished by applying small vacuum beneath the membranes. ⺠8000à Concentration at 90% interception factor predicted by Monte Carlo ray-tracing. ⺠Simulation results are corroborated by photogrammetric measurements.
