Abstract
⺠The effect surface plasmons on Dye Sensitised Solar Cells was investigated. ⺠Au nanoparticles of size 20, 49, 75 and 94 nm were synthesised. ⺠The interaction between the incident light and gold nanoparticle showed a size dependence. ⺠The efficiency of the solar cell improved from 0.74% to 1.52% on employing 94 nm size Au particle.
