Abstract
► We demonstrate the differential flatness of the polar-axis tracker. ► Alternative presentation of tracker dynamics in terms of the flat output is shown. ► Three control objectives are realized using one controller structure. ► Particularly, sensorless solar tracking is achieved using trajectories of motion. ► Sensorless tracking offer the possibility of hardware-cost reductions.
