Abstract
⺠We develop a simulator scheme for calibrating and validating a parabolic-trough solar thermal power plant model. ⺠The main goal is to facilitate all the processes required for simulation. ⺠The simulator scheme increases productivity and can be adapted to any kind of system. ⺠A calibration method using genetic algorithms is presented. ⺠This calibration method improves the results previously obtained.
