Abstract
In the present study, the phase behavior of aqueous electrolyte solutions has been correlated with a new three-parameter model based on the Debye-Hückel model. The new model was evaluated by the estimation of the osmotic and mean ionic activity coefficients of 123 electrolytes in aqueous solutions. The adjustable parameters of the new model were obtained by using non-linear regression between the experimental data and the results of the new model. Using adjustable parameters, the osmotic coefficients of the aqueous solutions were calculated. The results of the standard deviations of the osmotic and mean ionic activity coefficients were in a good agreement.
