Abstract
⺠Transient liquid phase bonding of a newly developed nickel-based superalloy was performed. ⺠Insufficient diffusion time resulted in the formation of eutectic microconstituent. ⺠Increased bonding temperature reduced solidification rate, in contrast to general expectation. ⺠Numerical simulation showed that the behaviour can be explained by deviation from parabolic rule. ⺠The phenomenon was less pronounced in the Haynes 282 possibly due to its higher Mo content.
