Abstract
⺠CdS hollow nanospheres with diameters of 40-150 nm were synthesized. ⺠Nanoparticles were characterized by UV/Vis and photoluminescence. ⺠Nanospheres are composed of smaller nanocrystals with the average size of 6.8 nm. ⺠The band gap energy of the CdS nanoparticles is higher than its bulk value.
