Abstract
▶ Al2O3/TiAl composites were fabricated from powder mixtures of Ti, Al, TiO2 and Cr2O3. ▶ The composites consisted of γ-TiAl, α2-Ti3Al, Al2O3, Ti(Al,Cr)2. ▶ It showed excellent mechanical properties in fracture toughness and flexural strength.
