Abstract
â¶ Microstructure and mechanical properties of fine-grained AZ31 Mg alloys were studied. â¶ The initial homogeneous microstructure led to homogeneous cold deformation. â¶ Texture softening effect on yield strength overcame fine-grain strengthening effect. â¶ Well-distributed grain size reduced the absolute difference of yield strength.
