Abstract
ⶠSingle crystal nickel-base superalloys were diffusion brazed with Ge containing brazing alloys. ⶠMicrostructure within the joint consists of a γ matrix and L12-precipitates. ⶠHardness of γâ²-precipitates/γ-matrix is reduced/similar in the joint compared to base material. ⶠIn PWA 1483 the lattice misfit is negative in the joint as well as in the base material. ⶠIn René N5 the lattice misfit is negative in the base material, but positive in the joint area.
