Abstract
ⶠA constitutive description of the AA7075-T6 aluminum alloy has been formulated. ⶠTests were conducted between 123 and 298 K, at constant and variable speeds. ⶠThe description is a simplified form of the mechanical threshold stress model. ⶠThe formulation separates the different contributions to the current flow stress. ⶠChanges in the ductility of the material are dictated by the changes in temperature.
