Abstract
â¶ A constitutive description of the AA7075-T6 aluminum alloy has been formulated. â¶ Tests were conducted between 123 and 298Â K, at constant and variable speeds. â¶ The description is a simplified form of the mechanical threshold stress model. â¶ The formulation separates the different contributions to the current flow stress. â¶ Changes in the ductility of the material are dictated by the changes in temperature.
