Abstract
ⶠAl-Ni particle composite was successfully processed by FSP. ⶠNo harmful intermetallics formed. ⶠThe composite showed a 3 fold increase in yield strength with high ductility. ⶠFSP also lead to a refined recrystallized grain structure. ⶠA continuous type dynamic recrystallization process seems to be working during FSP.
