Abstract
â¶ Al-Ni particle composite was successfully processed by FSP. â¶ No harmful intermetallics formed. â¶ The composite showed a 3 fold increase in yield strength with high ductility. â¶ FSP also lead to a refined recrystallized grain structure. â¶ A continuous type dynamic recrystallization process seems to be working during FSP.
