Abstract
ⶠW, V, Nb was added in the 18Cr-9Ni steel. ⶠSolute atmosphere of W, V, Nb formed around dislocations. ⶠDynamic strain aging (DSA) was found to occur in the temperature range 530-680 °C. ⶠDSA increases strength of the modified 18Cr-9Ni due to formations of the clouds of solutes around the dislocations that exert the solute drag force.
